Board of Commissioners

Commissioner Brian Murdock has been coming to Holden Beach since the mid-80s. He moved here permanently in 2002. He has been a NC Licensed General Contractor since 1993 and is currently President of VCC Inc., a residential construction company serving Brunswick County and the local beaches. Commissioner Murdock is also a licensed USCG Captain and operates local commercial fishing vessels. Tasked with problem solving and planning on an almost daily basis, he hopes to lend a hand in keeping this island a great place for residents and visitors to enjoy for years to come.
