Dr. Page Dyer was born in Richmond, Virginia. Her family started vacationing in Holden Beach in the early 80s. She fell in love with the island immediately and visited as often as possible. Dr. Dyer graduated from Virginia State University with a BS in animal science. She received her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1994. Dr. Dyer started a private practice and worked in Chester, South Carolina for 15 years. She relocated to her hometown in Richmond, Virginia and worked in private practice until moving to Holden Beach as a permanent resident. 

While in Chester, South Carolina, she served on the Downtown Development Association to revitalize the downtown and was a member of the Local Rotary Club for 14 years. Dr. Dyer and her husband, Robert built their home on the canals in 2016 and moved permanently in 2020. They enjoy boating, relaxing on the beach and riding their motorcycles.  

Dr. Dyer started her business, Sandy Paws Veterinary Mobile Clinic in March 2020. She is passionate about Holden Beach and hopes to contribute to keeping it a beautiful family beach for residents and visitors.
