Board of Commissioners

Commissioner Tracey Thomas has a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University. She worked at Xerox Corp for 32 years and has extensive experience with project management and budgets. She was on the Holden Beach Planning and Zoning Board for three years and is currently VP and Database Administrator of the HBPOA. After raising their family in Webster NY, she and her husband moved to Holden Beach permanently in 2017. She has a sister and a brother that also live on Holden Beach and enjoys hosting other family and friends in their little piece of paradise. She is devoted to making Holden Beach the best that it can be. She is committed to making sure that the island taxpayers/homeowners needs are represented first and spending reflects the taxpayers/homeowners' priorities. She has pledged to make sure the town is spending taxpayers money responsibly and starts saving money to invest in our future.
